JULIAN NIXON
Executive Director, Axis PR
Julian has extensive experience in reputation management and communication having led public relations projects with major corporations, government agencies, not-for-profit organisations and private companies in New Zealand, Australia, China and the Middle East.
His expertise includes corporate communication, investor relations, digital media including website copywriting and journalism.
A former country and regional manager with Hill & Knowlton and managing director with Burson Marsteller (BM and H&K are now part of Burson), Julian is committed to helping clients build, promote and protect their brands and reputations.
His academic qualifications include an MBA from Henley Business School and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.
Julian is also a founding trustee of the Tread Lightly Charitable Trust, an organisation which owns and manages mobile classrooms that visit Auckland primary and intermediate schools teaching young New Zealanders about sustainable living.
GAEL OGILVIE
Environmental and Sustainability Practitioner
Gael is an award-winning senior environmental adviser and manager with a science background and four decades experience working at the forefront of natural environmental management, climate change and sustainability practices in New Zealand and overseas.
Gael advises clients on climate action (including carbon footprinting and reporting) and on how to integrate an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance focus into decision-making and operations.
Her public sector experience includes Head of Environmental Services at Auckland Council and in the private sector she was a Senior Principal at URS (now AECOM).
Gael holds a number of governance roles.
